1. Spacecraft careens through the planet’s atmosphere. Sparks and smoke fly out of the craft.
2. Alarms blare, Captain James is trying to stabilize. The two other passengers, Stevie and Jean, work anxiously.
3. James: “Hold on, you two! We’re going down hard!”
4. Jean: “Captain! We are going down at lethal speeds and autopilot is completely offline!”
5. Stevie: “I can land us manually!”
6. James: “Negative, rookie. It’s too risky, we need a safer spot to crash-land!”
7. Stevie and Jean share a look, unlocking their seatbelts.
8. Stevie moves towards the cockpit. Jean: “She’s trained for this!”
9. Stevie has already grabbed the yoke, while Jean constrains James. Stevie: “Sorry Captain, you’ll thank me in a minute!”
10. James: “JEAN?? I-Insubordinates, both of you!”
11. Jean ignores James, shouting to Stevie: “YOU’VE GOT THIS!”
12. As they near land, the scenery is revealed. Endless snowy peaks appear.
13. Stevie’s eyes widen in recognition.
14. A slope that looks impossibly smooth, a guaranteed surplus of fluffy snow.
15. Stevie narrows her eyes in determination.
16. She presses a button at the top of the yoke’s handle. She’s using a small blast of fuel to propel them in the slope’s direction.
17. Extra fuel blasts out of the engine.
18. The craft lurches to the side, James and Jean scream while clinging to each other.
19. Jean: “If she hits this slope just right, we should be able to slide down safely!”
20. Snow flies in every direction as the spacecraft abruptly crashes into the peaceful landscape.
21. Smoke is still spilling out of the craft as it slides halfway down the slope.
22. The hatch opens with a hiss, cold air pouring in. Stevie relaxes her shoulders with a sigh.
23. The ship sits in a pile of irrigated snow, its passengers slowly crawling out of the top.
24. The group meanders farther down the slope, still taking in their environment.
25. Jean pumps a fist through the air, throwing his other arm around Stevie’s shoulders as he exclaims: “WE MADE IT!”
26. James is checking a device on his wrist: “Yes. Excellent work. Now follow me, you two, our contact on this planet is not far.”
27. Stevie and Jean pause for a second before continuing behind James and down the mountain.
28. They are only small specks now from the view of the crash, which still lets out a small trail of smoke into the sky.
